Gluten Free Macaroon Christmas Trees Recipe

  • 2 AND 1/2 CUPS OF FINELY SHREDDED UNSWEETENED COCONUT
  • 3/4 CUP OF GRANULATED SUGAR
  • 2 LARGE EGG WHITES, LIGHTLY BEATEN
  • 4 TSP OF VANILLA EXTRACT
  • 1/2 CUP OF POWDERED ICING SUGAR FOR DUSTING
  • PINCH OF SALT

  • IN A BOWL THOROUGHLY COMBINE THE COCONUT,  GRANULATED SUGAR, EGG WHITES, VANILLA AND SALT WITH A SPOON.
  • USING YOUR HANDS, CAREFULLY FORM 2 TBSP OF MIXTURE INTO 2 INCH TALL TREES.  
  • DELICATELY USE FINGER TIP TO MAKE TOP OF THE TREE POINT.
  • TRANSFER EACH TREE TO PARCHMENT LINED BAKING SHEET
  • BAKE FOR 12-14 MINUTES UNTIL EDGES GOLDEN + TREE'S FIRM.
  • LET THEM COOK ON BAKING SHEET.
  • DUST WITH ICING SUGAR
